What stays on your device
Camera frames, video, images, raw body landmarks, and spoken coaching remain in your browser. RepCheck does not upload them. Only accepted numeric results and limited integrity signals are associated with your challenge account.
Optional feedback
If you submit feedback, RepCheck stores your accuracy rating, issue category, optional comment, exercise, browser/device description, viewport size, language, and submission time. Never attach health information or anything you consider sensitive.
Abuse prevention
For feedback rate limiting, the service uses the requesting network address and browser description to create a one-day cryptographic identifier. The raw network address is not stored in the feedback database. Rate-limit records are operational data and are not used for advertising or participant scoring.
Optional anonymous analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics,” RepCheck uses PostHog to understand anonymous page visits, challenge choices, camera-permission outcomes, model and calibration reliability, workout milestones, broad duration ranges, device/browser categories, and application errors. Autocapture and session replay are disabled. RepCheck never sends camera frames, video, images, audio, raw body landmarks, exact joint-angle history, workout scores, feedback comments, names, or email addresses to PostHog.
Anonymous analytics are currently off on this device.
Accounts, challenges, and browser storage
RepCheck uses Supabase authentication with Google sign-in or a password-free email link to associate your identity with challenges, invitations, and leaderboards. We store your email address, display name, challenge memberships, accepted numeric results, attempt status, and essential integrity signals. Your camera video, images, audio, and raw body landmarks remain on your device and are never stored with your account. A completed result may be held temporarily in this browser while you sign in to save it. If you make an analytics choice, that preference and PostHog's anonymous identifier are stored in this browser. RepCheck does not use advertising cookies.
Retention and sharing
Feedback and RepCheck's internal operational events are retained for up to 90 days unless needed longer to investigate a reported defect or meet a legal obligation. Opted-in anonymous product analytics are processed by PostHog according to RepCheck's project settings. Account, challenge, invitation, and verified-result records are retained while your account or challenge remains active. Data may be processed by RepCheck's hosting, database, authentication, and analytics providers only to operate and improve the service. It is not sold.
Your choices
Feedback and product analytics are optional. You can change analytics permission above at any time. You may request access to or deletion of submitted feedback using its reference number. See the deletion instructions.
